What you need to know about feeding your Doberman :

Your puppy is eating
Taste of the Wild ( all life stages ) Pacific
Stream or Sierra Mountain canine formula. Visit them online at

 http://tasteofthewildpetfood.com/
Please note :
We do not feed puppy food as too much protein will
cause health/growth issues in Dobermans. See this link :

bout-knuckling-over-in-young-dogs/
Do not feed your Doberman a kibble with more than 26 %
protein ! A
2
5 % protein , no soy , no by-product feed is optimal.
We also cook for our babies. A very healthy tasty favorite is
boiled chicken, turkey or ground beef and rice. You can also add
some carrots or peas. We mix this with the kibble once a day
instead of canned food which can contain mostly fillers. Boiled
eggs and cottage cheese are also excellent treats. Be sure to leave
out fresh water at all times.
If you have questions about your puppy's diet , growth or
anything really , please contact me immediately ! Not everything
you read online is accurate and many things that veterinarians
learn about certain breeds are learned from a breeder with years
of experience. Not all veterinarians are familiar with Dobermans
and their specific health issues and needs.
And as a note : Do not feed your canine chocolate or onions as
these can make them sick or worse.
We do not recommend Greenies or Nylabones for your puppy as
we had one of our puppies almost choke to death on a piece of a
Greenie. From which she ended up in the emergency room
overnight as she also aspirated from the blockage. We only buy
our dogs rawhides fitted for the dog's size.
